You don’t really understand his plight
Story
An anthology series about high-profile crimes or murderers who have gained public attention and become famous. Evan Peters [Jeffrey Dahmer] says they had a rule from [creator] Ryan Murphy, starting with the show: It would never be told from Dahmer’s point of view. “As a viewer, you don’t really sympathize with him.
Featured in Jeremy Vine: Episode #5195 (2022)
You just watch him, you know, from the sidelines.” The 3M Command™ tape is shown in the kitchen of Jeffrey Dahmer’s apartment in many episodes, with the last action set in 1991. 3M released its first wave of Command™ products in 1996. Evan Peters seriously outdid his job here.
Also, the cinematography and music were impressive
His acting was top-notch and his portrayal of Dahmer, from his clothes to his expressions, was perfect, perfect down to the smallest detail. And besides him, the acting of the other cast members (his father, mother, grandmother, Glenda Cleveland and the victims) was also excellent. The script and writing were also decent, especially the fact that they didn’t take many liberties creative, and so the story turned out to be close to the real events.
But overall, it’s a must-see
The only thing I found a little disappointing was the length. The pace was a little slow, especially in the last few episodes, and I think the series could have easily been split into 8 episodes instead of 10. Especially for those interested in the crime thriller genre.
And that’s what makes it a little unique and interesting to watch
It’s a realistic look at one of the most famous serial killers in our history, where they didn’t romanticize him and, in fact, freed those who were prone to it.
